Celebrations are on at the BMW camp in Japan as well, with it being the centenary year of the company. The Japanese faction has introduced the Celebration Edition of the BMW M6. This will be one among the six special edition rides that the company will introduce to celebrate it’s 100th year. The M6 offers the Competition Package, which will pump out a total power of 600 hp and 700 Nm torque. This surely tops the production model of the M6 Coupe.
Among the value adds that arrive with the package are M Carbon Ceramic brakes that help reduce weight of the stock brakes and enhance control. The suspension of the new model is also worked on and the Celebration Package takes the car to 305 kmph with a 0-100 kmph jump in just 3.9 seconds! The car looks great with the CFRP boot lid spoiler and new diffuser added to the Package. The interior will be draped in Merino leather and carbon fiber trims while the wheels will be large 20-inch light alloy ones. It will arrive in Austin Yellow and be available in only 13 examples, in tribute to the car’s codename, F13.
Bookings will open from July 9 and will cost $210k!
